I loved this movie 10/10. I love Cate Blanchett, she did an amazing job:)

As good as the first movie in my opinion. Powerful drama, superbly acted by Blanchett, Clive Owen and G Rush. It gripped from beginning to end.

Not as good as the first, but still an enjoyable movie.

Spain failed to take England, England succeded in defending England. Argo no moral victory... it was A VICTORY. Anything after was merely to get back at the spanish.

This was also a really good movie. I thought it was just as good as the first one and the acting was very good. The plot is wonderful and I think it is a very entertaining movie. Worth a watch.

I love to watch this a few times again since the 1st time I saw it. Courageous, beautiful and sad. The pleasures she couldn't have because of who she is. Definitely one of all time fave period movie 10/10

As a teenager I was very surprised that i fell in love with this movie.

Such a brilliant movie, and I've already said it, but such an amazing story all the way from the beginning starting with her parents. Take my word for it.

I admire Cate Blanchett's abilities to transform herself into such big historical roles. I think that she captured Elizabeth's dilemma perfectly, and brought out the murderous and dysfunctional inheritance she received from her mother, Anne Boleyn and father, Henry the 8th. It is surprising to me that she did as good as she did considering her upbringing and psychological trauma. Clive Owen also did an outstanding job as Sir Walter Raleigh, although I believe he had more of a Scottish Brogue than I heard from Mr. Owen. It also gives us pause to look at what the early American Colonies were fighting against. The tyranny of one power hungry monarch, in this case a paranoid and unstable woman could order the deaths of her citizens without reprimand. Just as today we have childless women in positions of power in areas where the experience of raising a child is a necessity. We see childless and barren Elizabeth living out her father's legacy.3/5
