I saw this in a cinema when I was a little kid and didn't get half the jokes...still made me laugh. Watching it now...I laugh even harder because I get all the jokes. Might be a little too 'Aussie vernacular' for other audiences to 'get it' but it's a complete classic IMHO. The film was actually based on a real touring troupe that used to perform all of this stuff live in front of the screen in cinemas around Sydney. I'd rather watch this re-dubbed version of an old film that watch another bloody Hollywood remake of a perfectly good film that they stuff up...again.
