great, so now movie is good just because it old. Even classic. Sure, great for that particular period. But cant even stand on par with modern movies. So how can it be so good if it lacks so much of movie evolution?!

Good movie, but the new one is way better. This one and the new one were very similar though, and I thought this was pretty entertaining.

This movie is the "Grand Daddy" of all creature features,it introduces the iconic "Kong",who, after a steady diet of dusky native women decides it's time to expand his culinary tastes to include caucasians, with the beautiful Fay Wray as the target of his affections. This movie has inspired numerous remakes and spin offs but in my opinion this golden oldie of the creature features has yet to be surpassed, with Ray Harryhausen's stunning stop motion animation setting the bar for all special effects creators that followed, although the post CGI generation might take some convincing lol,10/10.
