it has a different story line with same character names but just names :P if u like action n adventure fine to watch ^^

VERSIONS OF THE BARBARIAN AND THE DESTROYER AND I OWN ALL THE CONAN BOOKS SO I KNOW ALL ABOUT CONAN BUT BACK TO THE MOVIE HERE I LOVED IT THE NEW AGE TECNO MADE IT A GREAT FILM TO WATCH AND I KNO ARNIE WOULD HAVE LIKED IT TO, THE ACTION WAS NON-STOP AND STORY BASED ON THE BOOK DID STRAY ABIT BUT FOR WHAT ITS WORTH AND ITS CONAN FOR GODS SAKE I GIVE THIS A 4.75/5 SLASHES !! I SEE A SEQUEL TO THIS AND HOPEFULLY THIS TIME THEY GET MORE OF THE BOOKS INTO FILM......

this conan is hottt the movie not so much 3/10

How very sad!!!!!What went wrong? Dialogue!!! everything....!!! Hopefully, they find another studio willing enough to treat it with the proper respect it deserves..

good movie, good watch, though abit to bloody

I saw it in the theaters and it was good but I like the older Conan The Barbarian movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger in them.

Hey, i couldn't get through this movie after several attempts. Maybe i just love the Arnold version, yet i have read some of the books, Nevertheless this version just doesn't live up to the hype! 2/5 (for effort)

this was a great movie :) i loved it

if you are a diehard Conan lore fan, don't bother watching because we do not need another bad review of the movie from you. If you are a fantasy fiction fan in need of at least a decent fantasy movie and can separate the Arnold ones from this one its worth a watch.

This was Conan Lite not as hardcore as the original,i think this movie would had been better if it was call something other than Conan,u can not watch this movie without comparing it to the original,that is why people wore turn off by it, it would had made more money if it was its own movie and been called something else.

All in All still a good movie to watch give it a 10 out of 10

I'll have to watch the 1982 version that posted by dhoominus suggested. The only reason I thought to watch this movie was because of Rose. She talked about it on some talk show way back. to be honest I only realy paid watched her scenes. listened to the rest while I was sketching a tribal flame. I'll put it in my pictures:)

Why is it that Jason Momoa is not listed in the actors list when her is main actor? He isn't listed in Stargate Atlantis or Game of Thrones either.

I am sure this was a good movie, unfortunately the copy was so crappy I couldn't understand a single word. Hope there is a better copy coming out soon

the audio is so muffled it is hard to make out what they are saying,so i shal wait for a better version!! but it will be worth the wait.

i think rose did good at who she was but her character didn't really do much.. it was action packed and an ok movie, acting was well done and conan was effing hot! did you see his butt!! lol anyway check it out and judge for yourselves tc movie hunters! ;P

So bad. Saw it in 3D. It doesn't matter how many extra dimensions you see it in, an awful script is an awful script. Horrible story and dialogue. Cheesy characters. It's a shame that hundreds of skilled and talented people came together to make such a truly terrible movie. The first time I've ever fallen asleep in the theater. Avoid at all costs. Watch Conan O'Brien instead.

No way does it beat the original, but a good film. Good acting, and special effects ok. Couldn't watch it when the movie first came out, must've been really tired because I did enjoy it. Worth a watch.

Honestly it was a pretty good movie. given that i dont know anything about the original Conan so i cant say nething for COnan lovers but i thought it was a pretty original decent film similar to Clash of the Titans ect. along the same line worth a watch not to mention Conan was fuckinngg sexy ughh phew id do bad things.. 8/10
