I have been putting this movie off for sometime now... how wrong I was to do so. Astonishing, emotional and very powerful story! Wonderful acting and of course breathtaking classical music. I love Williams and his acting talent, but have to say that I am not used to him playing such "negative" roles... All in all- 10/10. will remember this movie for years to come!!!

"The Music is All Around Us" WoW! I don't leave comments on movies ordinarily, like I know I should...but can't help commenting this absolute Masterpiece (to quote cheznay). I can sum this one up in one word. "Flawless". I could go into all the reasons it's flawless, from the flawless acting as well as the flawless casting. The actors performed their parts with more 'real-time' feeling than actors doing a scripted role, to the flawless soundtrack that manages to integrate itself flawlessly into all of each part's surrounding scenes to the point you nearly forget you're listening to a soundtrack and almost believe you're 'hearing the music' yourself. Let's not fail to give credit to the special effects guys either for another flawless performance. From the sounds of running feet to the winds in the grasses, every effect fit into the scenes like the missing piece of a jigsaw puzzle. The story, though a bit more predictable it became as it neared the end, was done in such a way that you just end up being glad you were right. I know, that's a lot of flawless-es but it's still not as many as this film deserves. But hey, that's just my opinion...so you watch it for yourself and feel free to tell me later that I'm crazy if you still want to. As for me, I'll give this one a 10/10 since I don't really think 100/10 is really allowed....is it?

Don't skip past this movie! This is what you have been looking for! I honestly don't think I'll ever watch a movie that can beat this. This is without a doubt the most moving, touching, heart warming movie I have ever seen. Snuggle up with a warm duvet and watch this!

One of my favorite movies of all time. The music and the story just overwhelm you and fill you with warm fuzzies that seem to last for hours. 10/10

it was so beautiful, that was actully the first word that came to mind. it was beautiful and it was also uplifting, some scenes just had me smiling on the screen like some kind of idiot. and yeah.. it was very uplifting too. the music was very nice especially the sound of the guitar, theres just something beautiful about the guitar. i also happen to like family stories.. ven though his parents got together pretty quickly, but alas it was true love! anyways.. one thing that was pretty weird for me was how awesome august rush i.. i mean thats impossible but since its his movie then i guess its not. you go august rush!! i love love love it!! and it also has RObin Williams! it has such star-studded cast so why i hadnt heard it until now. overall 9.5/10 because it made me wanna cry but i didnt nd now my heart just aches and i also feel sorry for that black kid. :<

Brillant movie of music! I wish we could have seen more of the exact instruments as they were played.., but in all what an Amazing intro. to the world of sound! Edward wanting to find his parents uses his suberb talent to reach out so they might find him. I wished for a longer more complete ending too but still.... great movie happy ! 4/5*
