brilliant film by clint eastwood .... 10/10

It's kinda slow. All the actors performed very well though. I quit watching in the middle.

Eastwood is one hell of a director i tell you that. penn,robbins and bacon did a great performance, they are so into there characters. must a watch

watched it till 56 mins and was bored shitless and found myself gasping for air like i was being suffocated. then i breathed and fowarded to 1 hr 56 mins where i was glad that i didnt put myself through this dire boring shite much longer. so glad paint dries quicker and i can get another coat on....2/10.

Really wonderful movie. Very powerful. The plot is wonderful. The acting is great. Clint Eastwood makes a lot of really good movies. This is definetly worth seeing. Has some twists and a surprising ending.

all star cast-can't go wrong. Well done. Definate watch but Dave's wife going loco in like 24 hrs. was a stretch. Maybe if her acting was better it may have been easier to swallow. 8 of 10.

This is a good movie to watch and think about. Definitely not for those who are looking for a quick flick and off we go! This movie has to be just absorbed and....well, it's a movie that will stay with you for a long time.

Wow, fantastic movie! I don't know how or why it has taken me this long to see this. What a great cast as well, I didn't realize who was in it before watching (didn't notice solid cast of actors). Such an entertaining film from start to finish with a solid plot and great acting/directing. Great drama and suspense as well throughout the movie. Very well done. Going down as one of my favourites.

Good movie. Really a great mystery, keeps you watching. Sean Penn is really one of the best actors around anymore, he makes this movie, in my opinion. The ending left me a bit unsatisfied till Kevin Bacon does this one move at the very end. Unless I misunderstood it. Can't tell you anymore, you gotta watch it to find out.

Couldnt really get into this for 3 reasons...1) i dont like sean penn 2) the audio was way out of sync 3) was bored and couldnt keep still long enough...1/5

Interesting and watchable movie with a talented cast; even Laura Linney, who often grates on me, pulls back just enough here to make her performance work. Ultimately, though, the movie as a whole, while it tries to be a means to digging a little deeper into the human psyche, doesn't present anything really new or groundbreaking. It all fits about the way you would expect. Not bad, but it just never gets to that next level, that deeper understanding, that it seems to be groping for.
