To watch without the codec 2 possibilities exist, first refresh the page, I have found on about a fifth of videos is you refresh sometimes it stops asking for the codec and works, don't know why yet. Method 2 and this one works every time, as adamlad46 said all you have to do is have a free account, login then try the link again, do it on some throwaway free email account if you want to but if you log in to their site it will let you watch any video WITHOUT the codec. don't and I cant stress this enough download the codec. I am a computing professional and I know for a fact that the codec they claim to require is not only unnecessary but does not in fact even exist. I could work out what it is but as a general rule downloading things like this is a bad idea and I can't risk my machines at the moment. A codec is something that can decode a file into something your machine can understand it cannot simply not be needed this is what leads me to believe that their supposed codec is a scam, it is probably logging your passwords or possibly monitoring your activity to give you better targeted ads instead, I don't know but it sure as hell is not a codec and that is enough for me not to trust it. Incidentally before people start saying that virus scanners don't detect it as bad (I don't know as I have not downloaded it because I don't trust it and it's not needed) be aware that it is estimated that only 37% of threats on the internet can be detected by virus scanners and indeed it is very easy to make a virus or edit an existing one such that no current virus scanner can detect it so if you have downloaded that thing I strongly suggest not doing any on-line banking on that machine or using any important passwords, take it to your local computer shop and ask them to wipe it, once the integrity of the machine has been compromised especially by something smart enough not to be caught by a virus scanner the machine should no longer be trusted. At some point I will get round to disassembling the file, reconstructing what it does and will be able to say definitively what it is doing. As nobody here is reporting viruses I am inclined to say that it is probably not stealing passwords or actively harming your machine, my guess is either on-line tracking to track what you do for more targeted ads (even google does that) or that it makes you part of a botnet which basically means that your computer could be involved in illegal activities without your knowledge a bit like a zombie that can be controlled by its master. Some botnets have millions or even more devices and schemes like this are how they infect so many but this is all conjecture as I have not yet confirmed what it does, I may do so in a few months. Going by osullivan467 it sounds like adware and a browser hijack but it could be anything else as well. Bottom line, VEEHD is fine all you need is a free account and don't download that stupid codec whatever you do and no I don't work for them or get a commission or anything like that and attacking adamlad46 who had the correct solution clearly without even considering his workaround is bad, cheeryO should be ashamed of herself it is comments like that which prevent others who are less computer minded than me from using resources like this, VEEHD is not my favourite host by any means because it is slow on my connection due to the large file sizes and requires me to login but if I have to use it it works perfectly fine once logged in and that only takes about 10 seconds so it is well worth it. Stop complaining about the free links people post here, you are not paying for it and anything that works is better than nothing at all. If anyone really is short a codec, you can get basically a complete set of all common codecs by downloading the KLite codec pack (which notably does not include this supposed ccodec which as I said is not a real codec) Also, great classic movie :)

I love VEEHD links they are great too. look... you dont like them! you dont know what you are missing. Dvix films are sharper and better sound than all the rest. I canwatch all links so why cant you? if you dont like veehd that means you need softweare!!!
