I absolutely agree with you. The best parts of the ending are left out in the movie. Reading the books was much more fun than watching the movie actually.

yet another good harry potter movie

I never read the books, but I've been watching the films in order. So far they've improved each time - Goblet of Fire in particular was great. However, this one literally sent me to sleep. A total lack of emotion in what I imagine would have been tear-jerking scenes in the books. Maybe the last 20 mins made up for it, I dunno, I just can't make it to the end. Perhaps you have to read the book to give a rat's ass about this one. I'm just gonna skip ahead to the next one.

I love how the movies get more and more serious and bit more grown up as they build on to the series. The acting is better and better too along with the special effects. 5/5 on with the marathon!

Harry Potter's a great saga... of course the novels are better than the films... but, if you like the wizzard adventures you should try enjoying them on the screen. I chose the V part to comment because it's in this one where Dame Maggie Smith / Lovely Minerva McGonagall has her best scent with Dolores Umbridge. Watch it and enjoy the magic!!!

Wonderful movie. Anyone who thinks this movie isn't good is wrong. The acting is great. I'm on this book right now, and it is so hard.

I haven't seen the later ones as much as the earlier ones but I like this one. Dolores is so evil! How can someone who looks so nice and sweet on the outside, be so evil and sour on the inside? I liked this one because of all the rebellion. If it was me, I would have smashed it. They probably, most definately would have killed them anyway. But I guess he had to try. Its a great movie. Well worth the watch.

The biggest problem with these movies is that they are way too close to the books. Its like nothing is changed, they just decided to act out the books with no real input. Sort of like copying someone else's work.

Harry cannot win for shit. He needs bigger balls and to brush up on the magic and zap the fuck out of his enemies. I presume we would not have a movie if he could do just that with the pain in the ass Voldemort. I would make it a crusade to murder my parent's killer including all future generations. Only thing I can say good is that it did not cost me any admission or fee to see what this Harry Potter brouhaha is about amongst the spoiled, misguided youth of America if not the world. Give it a check out and watch the rest of the franchise so you have validity when talking about J.K. Rowling's creation. Roger. Out.......

Worst one in the Harry Potter series but still worth a watch 7/10

IMO, the worst HP movie compared to the book, it was freakin' butchered. The first directed by David Yates and the only one with a different screen writer than the rest, so maybe that's the main reason? It's still entertaining and worth watching, but if you're a fan of the books then you know how much relevant stuff they left out of this movie. Thankfully the actors who play the roles bring an earnestness to the movie and make you care about the characters. I do feel Gary Oldman as Sirius is a stroke of casting brilliance, he plays the part so well. The longest of the books, but the shortest of the films pretty much says it all.

Just like the people below me, im in the middle of my marathon lol. this one is not my fav of the series. but thats like your least fav icecream, its still good. this one is darker than the other previous ones. the bad times are just beginning to start. the book is even better ofcourse but the movie does a good job of capturing the moment. o well, i love HP. awesome story. must see if you havent, but thats unlikely 8/10 for this one. 10/10 series.
