I remember this movie's magnificence! Watched it many years ago but its compelling presence stays with you. 10/10

Good 80's movie~; ) 7.5 Story about a priest who falls in love w/a mysterious woman who can turn into a dolphin. Priest disappears & the mother raises her boy alone on the river. Local Indian tribes think they are good spirits that protect them. Bandits come do bad things one day & boy is taken to a big city where boy learns to be a good lil Christian English speaking boy. Nuns dislike boy. Boy makes a friend. Boys runs into the bad man who did bad thing to his mother in the jungle. Boy runs away w/new friend to find bad man. Boy tries to get even, but is forced to flee back into jungle river where bad man pursues them....not knowing the power the boy hold over the jungle & it's dolphins. Who will save boys now, or who really is the one who really needs saving. Gotta watch it to find out...lol!~; )

I loved this movie...something about it just grabbed me.....the two kids that played lazro, were brothers, I found the little one (befor his hair was long) was just Stunning looking, so cute, I can imagine what he looks like today..lol.......Anyhow I enjoyed........4.5/5......Sad to see people with different cultures get religion shoved down there mouth....they did that to that Native's also, had to use names given to them..etc..piss me off
