Great film. Very well written. If you don't like a bunch of dialogue than this one's not for you. I found this very interesting and highly recommend it! 4.5/5.

One of American films treasure. The remake was a poor imitation, there are some classics you can't remake.

this movie is really good it about a black lower class famliy trying to make during hard times and the mom cames in to some money from the fathers dieing and makes a bad dill with a man that stoll it all . it a very good movie

The one with Danny Glover and Esther Rolle was good too. It's very hard to find. It was made in 1987
