I beg to differ on that. Bruce Lee was slated to play Kung Fu but somehow David Carradine snagged the role. As a dumb kid I never missed an episode myself but as I got older and wiser, Carradine certainly was not a great actor. Bruce Lee could have given it more flavor if not faster action or ass kicking as I would have liked it. I am sure they will rehash the series one day when all ideas have been exhausted. I am surprised they have not used Jackie Chan as the new Kung Fu. Looking back the series was lack luster but in the mind and eyes of a child was the shit back then. I am going to try to make it through this movie and suffer if I have to in order to put it on my watched list. Enter at your own risk, Grasshopper....

As a child this TV show promised an unusual hero and adventure. But as an adult I realize that David Carradine can't act at all. Its amazing how a child's mind changes the world around him when reality doesn't measure-up. This movie is slow and staggers, failing to reach a climax only to zizzle out and muddy up the ending. 2/5
