Loved this movie :)

Watched it when I was five, loved it so much, I remember it to this day, and now have revisited it after regaining an interest in anime, and now I love it more than ever.

For being a film that both followed Nausicaa and was Studio Ghibli's first official work, this delivered with flying colors. As entertainment, it has everything anyone could want in a movie: action, adventure, romance, wonder, beauty, and heart. Ignore the dub. I guarantee that if you show this to anyone, the odds are likely that they'll fall in love with it or at least like it. But to be honest...how could they not?

This was the first of Miyazaki's films that I saw. I fall in love with it then and it is still a good watch today. better then anything the the US has made in a long time. 9/10

Absolutely fantastic movie. The animations are great and there is never a dull moment in this movie. From the very beginning it draws you in and doesn't let you go till the end, even then the story stays with you. Just the way all of Miyazaki's films do.

brought back a feeling that all chldren share and all grownups forget ,undescribable emotion of beleaveing in the impossible and for me personally - a great deal of sadness for the times that will never come back. AWESOME F'N MOVIE !!! ...god i hate everything about being grown up ,i miss whipping my gipsy neighbours with that willow stick ...

great movie...i love the theme song of this...the movie characters are great, one of my favorites 15/10
