great classic ghibli studio movie! Lots of emotion and morel to the story. Give this movie a 9/10, just because I wish it had more to the ending :)

Finally got around to watching this. Very good movie 5/5.

I love this movie. I remember watching it the first time it was shown on TV in England, I had to wait another 14 years before tracking it down again. Until relatively recently it had only actually been shown on TV twice. I loved it then and love it now. Maybe because it was the first one I saw it is still my favourite Ghibli movie. Absolute classic. I would love a prequel on this, not often I say that but I think the back story would make a great series, let alone a film. Obviously the animation is superb, and the voice acting is great courtesy or Anna Pacquin (yup True Blood's Sookie Stackhouse) and James (Dawsons "I want to stab my own eyes out rather than suffer this show" Creek).

Absolutely fantastic movie. The animations are great and there is never a dull moment in this movie. From the very beginning it draws you in and doesn't let you go till the end, even then the story stays with you. Just the way all of Miyazaki's films do.

Brilliant anime film. Loved the story but like all Ghibli movies they end too soon.
