If you enjoyed spirited away, princess mononoke, howl's moving castle-- Miyao miyazaki's work then you'll love this movie. It brings out so many feelings of childhood amusements it's really something magical.

Super cute movie! :) Definitely a Ghibli Studios favorite of mine for a very long time. I wish there was more to the story, definitely left you wondering. a 9.5/10 from me

I can't begin to explain how much I LOVE this movie. It's just amazing. So full of adventure, childhood, laughter and wonder. All the things that remind me of my childhood. This and Spirited Away are my favourite Anime movies. Spectacular movie with a great ending. 10/10

My Neighbor Totoro is not my favorite movie by Miyazaki, but that does not mean it is a bad film. This movie's plot is not as complex as Princess Mononoke or Nausicaa, and that's okay because the simplicity of this film is what charmed me. The characters were entertaining to watch, as was the soundtrack to hear. 8.5/10

Miyazaki has a wonderful talent of blending real life problems with the fantastic, showing you that life is beautiful and mysterious and even in hard times you can keep your chin up and a smile on your face. My Neighbor Totoro is a timeless classic that is visually stunning and great for all ages. Even though there's a problem going on, the two young girls manage to adjust and create an adventure with the forest spirits that not only take the gloom away but brighten their spirits toward their dilemma. I first saw this film when I was still in grade school and I love it still today. It's not complicated, it's not a sensory overload. It's beautiful and whimsical and makes you smile just from watching it.

My favourite Miyazaki is Howl's Moving Castle, but Totoro is wonderful too. Kids are gonna love it.
