Top 50-Day2: Boys vs Girls in the Signature Dish Challenge. The kicker is judges are members of the opposing team, then dishes are voted on by their peers. The three from each side with the highest number of votes continue to the second round, where the prize is the first two spots in the Top 24.

Fresh Produce Challenge: Bottom 10 from the Signature Dish Challenge face-off in pairs to prepare two courses, one main and one dessert to salvage their place in the competition. Ingredients must be sourced from local farms, on a budget and within a fixed timeframe. Three teams are eliminated.

Ten spots in the final 24 are up for grabs in a Gladiator-style competition of skills in precision and accuracy (mise en place). Those left standing at their stations cook-off against Matt Moran.

SPOILER ALERT: While I cannot quite believe the person who won made it through all the way .. which speak volumes to what one can learn through this show .. I also cannot believe the person below me actually named the grand finale winner within their post! thus, ruining the series for EVERYONE else. Please Jemi, edit your post to remove the name and reference it in such a manner that will not spoil the entire series for others. Thank you.

Jemi, no spoilers!!! And when you do post a spoiler, please preface your entire writing with SPOILER ALERT and not nestled within brackets the word immediately preceding ... sheesh =(

All the links seem to be unwatchable, with the video jumping around and audio not matching up. Dialogue kept getting cut, with the estimated run time of ~55minutes being less than 40 =[ .. so about 15min chopped out within. Hope the finale tomorrow runs true

Excited about Finals Week coming up but a bit saddened that this is the last MasterClass of Season4 ... my mouth waters with the amazing dishes created, this time lots to learn about beef .. enjoy!

I gave each of the four links currently listed (vidxden, uploadc, zalaa and filenuke) only one star each. All of them finish just as the cooking is finished (@49:47) so are missing presentation and judging of dishes plus naming of the winner =(

Yummy immunity challenge! You can tell Jamie Oliver loves more than just food .. his connection with people and bent humour shines through .. perhaps this episode should be entitled: "Spanked by the Plank" =]

I love this show! Each week builds from the initial Mystery Box Challenge, then teams face-off to determine who goes into Elimination Challenges and Pressure Cookers. The top chef(s) of the week faces-off against a guest Master chef for a chance at immunity. The week finishes with a Master class, with judges and guest chefs giving tips and tricks on some amazing dishes. Soooo I as well disagree there is no competition ... there is *just* a lack of american-style trash-talking. I have learned so much ... and become acquainted w/some foods down-under =] ..... refreshing!

WOW!!!!!! Such an emotional ending to this episode. Amazing.

Given 3 hours to cook is more than enough time. It's unacceptable that they had to rush at the last second, especially for such simple dishes.

i disagree. this is my favorite cooking show. the first 3 seasons were excellent. and i love it because there is very little reality tv drama. it's all about cooking.

u tell me. in season 2, there was not a single rude person. maybe they edit the show like that, but you'd think there would be some kind of drama btw the chefs... nope, there was none of that. everybody was just so nice and happy throughout the whole competition (no jealousy was expressed or anything like that on the show).

yes new season. I'm in love with this show. It's the best cooking show in my opinion and I really love the judges --- great people that love their job.

This is indeed the best cooking show (beats Top Chef and Hell's Kitchen..). You get six episodes every week (aired sunday through friday). First you have the Invention Test, followed by the Pressure Test Elimination in which the losers of the Invention Test day get to cook against each other and 1 goes home. The winner of the Invention Test gets to cook against the celeb in the Celebrity Chef Challenge. Finally you have the Team Challenge and the Elimination Challenge, in which the losers of the Team Challenge compete and 1 goes home. The Masterclass is aired last in the week! For me, the most interesting to watch was the Invention Test and the Pressure Test Challenge, the least interesting was the Masterclass!

Top50-Day1: More than 8,000 budding chefs tried out, and only 50 made it. [The auditions were not covered in-depth as in Season One, so at first I thought a couple of episodes were missing!] First is a "Baptism of Fire" on the BBQ, with the Bottom Ten facing off in an Elimination Challenge provided by Donna Hay. Five contestants are eliminated.
