no matter how many time i rewatch and marathon watch every season this episode gets me eveytime! and the next few are hard to watch, Laugh and then Cry sucks but The show is just sooo great!!!!!

I've been waiting for 8 seasons and 6 years to see the mother and after all this waiting this is all they showing?! i guess I'm gonna have to wait till next year to see if Ted even talks to the mother. i was kinda disappointed of this episode I hope next season will get better

@nign Robin CAN'T have kids.. She was telling the story as a "what if" basically. It was a really sad episode. But yeah those two = NO kids together :)

@krystinagarza - Thats actually a very impressive theory which not many people would have thought of but for some reason i feel like its gonna be someone not relevant to the storyline at all. What i mean is, i think its gonna reveal who the mother is in the final few few episodes of the last ever season and its going to be someone who the gang have never ever met.

@BluefireRafc- They really should stop stalling, they have dragged it out for way too long but they will loose the whole hook of the show if they reveal who the mother is and by losing the hook, the show may become boring for some people.
