This show started off rather slow, and builds on the relationship between Bill, and Sookie Stackhouse the main character. It starts out as a story of the fact that Vampires have just gone public, and so therefore have to do some major PR because most humans don't like them. So they come up with something called " True Blood. " which is a substitutive for human blood. Then it starts getting darker, and more action packed. I like the fact that it is the first real Vampire TV show. So many before it are all angst and seem geared towards teenage girls ( Twilight ). This is dark, and deals with the struggle of vampires, and humans alike. I think the core idea that makes it work is the fact that no matter how big and bad you are, there is always something to be fearful of. They do a really good job with this show. Must watch.

True Blood: With the invention of synthetic blood vampires no longer need to hunt humans to eat. The world becomes a different place. "True Blood" or synthetic blood, tho distasteful, can sustain a vampire. Sookie is a small town waitress who is about to come face to face with a world she only found existed a few years before. Danger, love, lust, and lies are going to morph her small town into a nightmare! Don't miss a single episode!!!!! Five stars!!!

Love, although it shouldn't be the kind you clean up with a mop and bucket - True Blood finds a way to make the fight for love a gruesome, action-filled, supernatural adventure. Blood flies through tooth and nail to justify how strong love can be. From the 1st Season, this series has made an impact on America's view of vampires, can they live in peace with humans? Sookie, an especially determined waitress, strives to keep her love with Bill... although, Bill does everything in and out of his vampire nature to keep Sookie safe from harm. The characters from the small town make this show amazing, along with the cross of devilish and evil ways of other supernatural bodies! Season Four coming soon!!!!

This is a definitely a must see series. If you love blood, sex, and vampires then True Blood is for you! I can't get enough of it! Every sunday has me begging for more. It will be a shame once this show finally comes to an end. Let's hope it never does :)

True Blood is the best series on TV!!
It is a must watch show that just gets better and better with each new season!!! If you are like me and love this series, you should read the Sookie Stackhouse books too! The books go more in depth on the characters in the True Blood series and make it even better!

First off, this show is very addicting. It is a bit gory at times, but it just keeps pulling you in the longer you watch it. A lot of movies have a boring beginning, but not this series. The very beginning is really what attracts you to it because you want to know the rest of the story. For a fantasy world this show is perfect. It is unique in its own way and when you think one thing is going to happen, something completely different goes on. I love that it just keeps you guessing. This show is just great and if you have not watched it then you are missing out.

It's thrilling, has a lot of dry humor in it, and isn't afraid of touching every day things of society, like sexuality, racism, relationship issues, and all the things you and I go through each day.

From the people who don't like the book series, it's not exactly like the books. the story has a life of it's own and doesn't follow ms C. Harris her books. there are many commonalities but it's the same thing.
And for the people who do like the books but think a tv show based on the books would not have the same impact as the books had. You have to watch it! It will captivate you. Very explicit sex and lots of it.

Where they have made a drink called trueblood( synthetic blood) for the vampires to drink instead of drinking from humans. This show has all the excitement you are looking for. Written by Allen Ball, And staring Anna Paquin(Sookie Stackhouse), Stephen Moyer( Bill Compten), And Alexander Skardskards( Eric Northmen).

I love this show best show hbo ever came up with twightlight has nothing on true blood this is for mature people personally i can do without the sex scene it takes to much time of the show i would like to focus more on the story rather then people having sex. alex skargard is such a great actor with his blue eyes i can see him a being a viking vampire. The FX are great not to mention the cast. Every episode keeps me on the edge of my seat i just wish the season would contain more episode and not such a long time in between each season.

True Blood. Despite it's huge success to me it's really a tremendous failure. I find the overall idea a very interesting and intriguing one. Vampires living amongst humans. But to put it short, what I dislike is the way the story develops. Actually, there is no story. There is a constant chaotic stream of disconnected events, one after another. To me it really feels as if the script writers are at a constant loss, never really knowing what to do. One moment a character makes this decision, the next moment it decides the opposite. There is no steady balance whatsoever. The sexual fetishism of vampires is probably what makes this show so successful. I guess vampires have some sort of erotic quality about them. Another big problem I have with this show is Sookie. I find her terribly annoying and totally overrated in her attractiveness. I would have appreciated this show more if it had a more general theme, direction, philosophy, story line, name it what you want, something to hold on too, to look forward too. Something that builds suspense and captivates your interest. This show has a lot of potential and I understand it's success, but it's not my thing.

No words can describe the intensity of the show. A plot that is so twisted, you want more. One of the only HBO series that truly delivers. It gives an unsatisfying taste in entertainment. In a very good way. Each episode leaves you hanging and makes certain you want more...

True Blood is a great show. The actors get really in to their characters, and they do a great job playing them. it is a little different from the books, but I like the show more. The plot is very intersting and it keeps you wanting more and more. I can't get enough of this show :)

i like the way it has adult scenes and adult humour because it makes it uniqe by seperating it from the other vampire tv-shows there all about teenage girl meets teenage boy they fall hoplessly in love and of course they HAVE TO BE SOULMATES it has gotten old and boring. In my oppinion it has to be one of the best vampire tv-shows i a lnog time

true blood is my favourite tv show i love watching it the characters are really great i alway,s cant wait to watch the next one i wish i had all the seasons so i can watch them all one after the other lol love all the characters but my fav is hotttt eric northman he,s a really good actor, im alway,s really exited to watch it then when its over i have to wait a whole week ugh but it keeps u waiting and your more exited to watch it i think its better like that actualy love watching it and hope it never ends 10/10
