Watch The Office: A remake of the hit 2001 BBC TV series The Office (2001), this is a mockumentary that documents the exploits of a paper supply company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Made up of head chief Michael Scott, a harmlessly deluded and ignorantly insensitive boss who cares about the welfare of his employees while trying to put his own spin on company policy. With an office including the likes of various peers who have their own hangups, The Office (2005) takes a look at the lives of its co-workers: bored but talented salesman Jim, his mildly sociopathic, butt kissing enemy Dwight, mildly righteous receptionist Pam, and indifferent temp Ryan. |

Seriously, BEST episode so far this season. They really brought back the heart with the comedy that's defined this series from the beginning. Reminded me why I continued to follow this show in the first place. Who produced/directed this epi?? Thank you Office.

How come it seems they spend more time gathering to talk, ALL together than work? lol.

I happen to find the Nellie character charming with the true essence of The Office & how it started, even with the UK's original version. Usually the UK sense of humor is lost or an acquired taste with American viewers, so of course many may find it off putting. But since Carrell left, it seemed the show lost track of what made it great to begin with. Seems to be trying too hard with the jokes. I like the inconspicuous humor & jokes that the pre-Bernard & more successful epis of The Office had and made them popular. The confident, overzealous, nebulous minded, & rude boss. The new boss has a fair combination of the characteristics of Scott & Brent. I really think the long term viewers will grow to like it. I just wonder what's going to become of Helms's character. Staying tuned. *Edit. Future of the show, http://social.entertainment.msn.com/tv/blogs/tv-buzz-blogpost.aspx?post=a776cdab-7dc6-4c04-9303-06a301a7c891

If this episode was the network's way of showing fans that the show can continue successfully without Steve Carell's Michael, then they failed. Miserably. Will Ferrel's humor has never appealed to me and comes off as what I can only describe as loud and juvenile. I understand that others may appreciate that type of humor, but the show's premise is the opposite! It's always been dry, deadpan, witty, and that's what makes the show unique and popular! This episode was not funny. This is the only Office episode I can think of that didn't make me laugh at all. There was a noticeable difference to me with this episode compared to all the others. It seemed like ALL the characters were suddenly different in demeanor. This ep. made me believe that seven seasons may be enough for this cast, and maybe they should end on a good note and end the show with Michael's leaving. Ferrel's presence is enough to change the fanbase entirely and I could definitely see the show being canceled as a result if they continue.

I, like everyone, miss Michael too. But I gave the following season a shot, and I still love this show! Still funny.

My Uncle works on set of The Office and he was telling me about the next episode. I wont be "that guy" but DAHUMMM. Yall gotta watch it. But the end where the camera guy walked in was stupid, they managed 8 1/2 seasons without the camera crew in it and now they got them in it.

I feel like it is too. It's as if they're trying to hard with his character, it sort of holds the others back in a way.
