this show is addictive...I saw all previous seasons in less than a week...whatta marathon...now I am always waiting for the next new chapter...too bad we dont have one daily!....great acting, costume, furniture...etc..etc..you feel transported to the 50s and get shocked on how many things we take for granted and others not considered in those days...like babies should be placed on back passenger seats of a car, dont smoke or drink in an office...etc etc...THIS SHOW IS ADDICTIVE!!!

Mad Men is at the fore-front of dramas. Megan Draper played by Jessica Pare is my favorite female character on television. In my opinion, Matthew Weiner and The writers of Mad Men have made Megan Draper, the woman every woman should behave like if they want a happy and loving husband/family/life . Mad Men has Locked Down their 5th Emmy in 5 years.

How the hell is this on page 7 of tv favorites - for me this show is only 2nd to Dexter - cant wait for the new season + back to Don Draper!

It was kind of hard to keep interested in the show, but after you get to know the characters a bit more, you are drawn into their world. I love all the Glam, and sophistication of the 1960s!

The first 2 seasons were the best. Displaying solid scriptwriting and good directing. There was mystery, intrigue, shocks, laughs and enough suspense to leave you hanging for more. Mad men really went through a change in season 3 with not only its direction but the character development; as the mystery behind Don Draper started to unveil strangely I found myself asking "Is that it?!". I felt the producers were too distracted by trying to score laughs with cheap filmic devices and creating overly melodramatic montages to sway us to a certain character. But when the formula lacks chemistry its not gonna work. Tsk-tsk producers, even the worst actors know that. Indeed with Season 4, the entire focus shifted from Don Draper and co. to the female characters. This is fine so long as it ties back to the protagonist somehow, but frustratingly the show is spinning out subplot after subplot of incoherent and meaningless scenes that one can't help but not give a damn anymore. "Mad Men" should now be called "Mad Women". Boo! Bring back the old days I say! And it's Don Draper or nothing!

I am a few episodes into the first season. This is interesting to watch. Everything really is different today. I am glad I was not alive then. At the same time it would be nice to not have to work.

Betty Draper is such a Bitch. She is so 1960's housewife; bad mom, bad wife, bad person, yet with very few redeamable qualities

One of my favourite shows of the moment... Just saw season 3 (in Belgium time) and looking forward to season 4!!! Great writing (interesting characters+plot) and beautiful decors and dresses, you really feel the 60s. And of course the starting tune, gets me everytime!

I have never wanted to have a strong drink before say 5pm untill I started watching this! Makes casual drinking look soooo cool! Gotta admit, the outfits look great too.
