I have always had a like-hate relationship with this series. Someone once told me he watches it because it's like watching a train wreck. It's terrible but you can't look away. Maybe that's the best explanation for my reaction.

I mean, the characters are so...well...wrong. Take Bones- she looks and dresses like a fashion model but talks and acts like she suffers from high-functioning autism. She supposedly spent her teen years in foster care but has no social skills whatsoever. I would think her complete lack of tact would have got her beat up at least a few times in her youth. And Booth, well, I always thought FBI agents had to be intelligent and highly educated yet he comes off as a complete idiot. There is not a single character on this show that is actually believable. I know that TV characters are not supposed to be like us real folk but these guys stretch the willing suspension of disbelief way past the breaking point.

Yet, somehow I like this show. Bones is definitely not great TV, hell, it's hardly good TV but, as train wrecks go, it's a lot of fun to watch.

First, I LOVE this series! The characters are great and bring so much to the show. **I will tell you, I only fell in love with series after I started from the beginning**. I had only seen parts of different episodes once and a while, when flipping through channels. I couldnt get into the episodes starting midway through. Because I hadnt seen any previous episodes or seasons it limited my understanding of the characters personalities and backgrounds etc. I couldnt fully appreciate the humor or storyline. After a surgery I had trouble actually staying down in bed and needed something to do! I was so bored and found myself browsing through, looking for something to watch. I had just finished watching the seasons of Lie to Me and liked the series. Listed as other TV series that were similar was Bones, so I thought Id give it a try. Since the first 5 seasons of Bones were available to watch, it gave me an opportunity to catch up by the time season 6 started. After watching the first Season, even just the first few episodes; I was able to appreciate the other Seasons/Episodes better. There was more humor than I realized, but couldnt understand or appreciate it before. There was more to the characters, and I enjoyed the series so much more. After watching all the seasons (had to stay in bed for 10 wks), I couldnt wait for the new Season to start! I love the series and have to say if youve wondered about watching Bones, but feel like youre missing something...start from the beginning! It will make the whole series so much more enjoyable and you just might fall in love with the series and characters the way I did :). It has become one of my favorite shows and I look forward to any new episodes on my DVR each week!!

I feel this is an excellent show that combines both the scientific world, and the romantic reality of life, a struggle between cold dry facts, and the emotions and feelings that often get in the way of them, the struggle is presented on so many levels, in the romantic relationship between the two main characters , the struggle between (Dr.Brennen)'s scientific mind, and her feelings for her partner, the everyday cases, and the constant tug of was between reason and romanticism.
Over all great show interesting and engaging and real, also more than a bit educational. 9.5/10

I watched this show from the begging of season one till the end of season six. I love this show. A team of scientist go out to find a murder with only a set of bones to help. It's like putting together a puzzle. The on scene drama not involving the murder is also stimulating and keep people guessing about what is going to happen next. I love this show and hope thy keep up the good work and hope to see more episodes in the future.

I love the romantic tones of the story between booth and bones and the creative way they come to certain sollutions. I really like wendal as the alternative to the manic depressive. Cam is kinda scarey but real. I love Angela and dr. hodgens. They go from hostal to loving in seconds.
