Also, he's now deeply in bed with Todd -- a guy who just shot a kid without hesitation. Not smart.

He's going about it all wrong. For starters, not paying Jessee his money is a bad move -- a real leader would pay the man instead of making excuses not to. And offing people out of pure ego is a no-no. This ain't gonna end well.

True Star3nolimits... I don't see him coming back from this. Things are not looking good for Skylar either (I still don't like her personality but she's no worse than Walt). It's painful to watch his decline. That excuse about selling the old company for pennies is a cop-out. Like Jessee said, "It's not the same thing." This is such a great and powerful show!

I agree... Walt and Skylar can drop dead for all I care. But, that's the point of this series -- nearly all of the characters "break bad" at some point. Some redeem themselves, others don't.

Becuz some criminals don't believe in leaving ANY witnesses. Unfortunate, but true.

Admittedly, Walt is on a downward spiral to the point of no return, but count me in as one the folks who can't stand Skylar. She thinks her shit don't stink, but it does.

The actress isn't the problem; it's the way her character is drawn. A mother trying to protect her family is understandable, but Skylar has been pretty unlikeable from the start of the series. Walt is no saint, but neither is Skylar.

The men on this show are brilliantly written, but the women are poorly done. I understand Skylar being needed as Walt's wife, but her (and Marie's) character could have been written more in a more compelling way.

Agreed...this episode had some of the finest writing ever displayed on TV. The interrogation scene with Hank and Mike was brilliantly done.

I agree with some of where you're going with this, esp Aaron Paul's stellar performance. Not so sure about your prediction for Skylar though... I also never liked that woman. I'm very interested to see Jesse's reaction when he finds out what Walt did to the kid. And let's not forget, though his reasoning for doing so was understandable, he let Jane die as well. Right now, Jesse is possibly the only person on Walt's side; can't wait to see what will happen when the truth is revealed.

Dang Walt...don't even recognize you anymore. Great start to the season. Wonderful show!

I think it's the fact that Jesse is so keen about not wanting Gus to harm Walt, yet he would think Walt capable of such an act B4 suspecting Gus? Dunno.

I thought about that as well, but for some reason, that scene just didn't ring true to me... it just felt "off."

Gus' actions at the end of Episode 12 makes sense. He's very intuitive and probably suspected that Jesse was on to him. However, Jesse believing Walt would commit such a crime was not believable. They've had their differences, but Jesse knows Walt better than that.

One of my top five favorite series...right up there with Spartacus, Dexter, True Blood and Misfits. Breaking Bad is astonishingly good, but it's not for everyone. The first two seasons are phenomenal. The third... not so much. The fourth season has been great so far and is turning out to be one of the best seasons. Very committed cast, complex characters and addicting story line. Do yourself a favor and watch it.

When Walt 'mad dogged' Jessie and hit him with the fly swatter...hahaha. This episode should not be skipped if you're really 'into' this show for more than just basic plot. The symbolism is completely integral to the ongoing metaphors that build up the entire show.

Wow Skylar is taking this very harshly and seriously. I can understand her point of view but she is acting so psycho about it...Walt is so money and now kind of power greedy but he does the best he can for his family and it's a shame she can't seem to see that
