Rosewood is a perfect little town. So quiet and pristine, you'd never guess it holds so many secrets. Some of the ugliest ones belong to the prettiest girls in town -- Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily, four estranged friends whose darkest secrets are about to unravel.

One year ago, Alison, the Queen Bee of their group, disappeared and the girls swore they'd never tell what really happened that night. They thought their secrets would bond them together, but just the opposite is true. Then again, who's to say what the truth is in Rosewood. It seems everyone in town is lying about something.

Now, as the mystery surrounding Alison's disappearance resurfaces, the girls begin getting messages from "A," saying – and threatening – things only Alison would know. But it couldn't be Alison. Could it? Whoever it is, they seem to know all the girls' secrets, and seem to be watching their every move. The girls are friends again, but will they be there for each other if their dark secrets come to light?

series revolves around a group of best friends that know everything about each other. Aria, played by Hale, spent the last year in Iceland, but returned to Rosewood and began a shocking relationship. Hannah, played by Benson, used to be a chubby girl who transformed herself into the new “it girl,” while Spencer (played by Bellisario) is the group’s little Miss perfect. Emily (Mitchell) is the athletic girl who made friends with a new girl in town who may or may not be her love interest…and then there’s Alison, who is the manipulative group leader who mysteriously disappeared one night during a sleepover

This show is so amazing. Cant wait for next episode. This is a SPOLIER: So i found out who -A is it is Ali. Ali never really died. Ali had a twin sister named Courtney who was always in a mental hospital and one day she came to visit her family and when Ali went off to the hospital she pretended to be Ali and Ali killed her twin sister Courtnry becasue of revenge and at the end Ali is said to be dead and the 4 pretty liars make a new friend who is exactly like the Ali that they used to be friends with.

This Is Definitely My Kinda Show! It Has Suspense, Drama, And Hot Dudes And Chicks.
It Keeps Me On The Edge Of My Seat.

I would have been missing out if it weren't for my friend. She told me to watch it because it's a good show. I thought the show has a recipe to be something completely trashy or something great. It takes great writing in order for a show to be watchable. Pretty Little Liars is not just another ABC Family show, it actually has some factors in every episode that would leave your mouth opens for the whole scene. Once you watch it, you'd never be able to stop. Guilty Pleasure!…

Such an amazing TV show. every episode never fails to keep you in suspense. Just when you think you know who A is the next episode will make you think someone else is A. Every episode always surprises you. You simply can't ever figure out what will happen next. I don't believe Alison is actually dead, and I think she's A.... her brother Jason may be helping her? What's he got all that surveillance gear for anyways? But then again Jenna is really suspicious. Can't wait for next episode. :)

One of the must see T.V. shows of the year. It is outrageously thrilling and keeps you guessing. Who is -A? We all want to know. Based on the best selling books Pretty Little Liars! Just when one drama ends another begins. This show has left me speechless waiting for more the next week.

This TV show keeps me at the verge of my chair every time I watch it. Even though not all of it is appropriate, I think teenagers can watch it through without skipping parts. I think everyone has their guesses about -A and I can't wait for the finale!

Very good story line. Filled with suspense and mystery which gives the show a little edge. I think the whole idea of A is what keeps the viewers wanting more and more of this show , because personally I just cant get enough.It also isn;t heterosexually based. I recommend this to everyone.

In the beginning this show was very promising. With all the shocks and double takes. Soon with more and more hiatuses and spring/summer finales which felt like was at least once a month. This latest finale has yet again left us hanging on a cliff hanger. I love this show, yes they would throw us a bone here and there and half hint towards something, but the passing weeks were so so so more drawn out then they ever should have been. I am looking forward to the newest installment, i just hope we don't have to wait clear into 2013 before it happens.
