YES! Fricking EXCELLENT series!

It's HBO so it's gotta be amazing.

I'm beginning to think that this is less a dramatization of how a newsroom functions, but rather Sorkin's depiction of the death of a major political party in the US. There's a reason that McCovoy is an avowed Republican, who sees his party deteriorating into facetiousness and moronism. Great show to have on air during the last few months coming into the presidential elections.

I know that "Breaking Bad" is back (amazing) - but after 4 episodes, I can say that this is the best show on Sunday nights. I might have a certain political bias - but this is magnificent.

Anyone with a potential political IQ should watch this episode of this show that is slowly showing itself to be a brilliant display of what is currently wrong with news broadcasting in this country (FOX News is an easy example, but have we been watching CNN or any of their subsidiary networks lately). I am absolutely speechless.

Great encore episode. This is poised to be a very strong series. Aaron Sorkin's writing is as stellar as ever and the cast is quite capable of delivering his quick-paced, witty dialogue. Also, it's great to see Sam Waterston back on television.

This show makes me wonna be a reporter lol the show is very well made, the cast is superb and the storyline is great. Do your self a favor and add this to your "just gotta watch" list :) 10 out of 10 news cycles :)

It's about time an intelligent show has been created on American television.The 1st episode has aired, and it has already been picked up for a 2nd season Bravo! for HBO, again.

Intelligent programming. Now that's what I call a winning show. Controversy, smart dialogue, two budding romances, okay, maybe 1 and a remake. The writers for this show are on top of their game. Jeff Daniels' meltdown in the beginning was probably the single most truthful opinion I've heard on TV or in real life in a long time. Though, calling it a meltdown is a bit much. Some people just don't like telling or hearing the truth. Must watch!! 10/10

Any show that Tea Baggers hate must be a wonderful. Even before the show aired on Sunday night, Those Tea Baggers had already spent numerous amount of articles trashing the show. Wonderful. Those tea baggers have no taste anyway. Wonderful show. Thank you again Mr. Sorkin.

Alright, I'm done. I kept watching despite the show's allegiance to one side. I kept hearing it would get better, or something would happen by the end of the season. A few of these shows so far were somewhat entertaining. It's just a newsroom written to be righteous about every important thing, and it is candy or an indulgence for a certain political side. Ten minutes into episode 9/blackout part 2, had to shut it off, don't care, boring, uninteresting. I gave this more of a chance than most.

But the show states from the beginning that they aren't like other news sources, then boom, right away they are left lovers.... yeah, giving time, season's not over, so who knows where the writing will go.

I am giving it some time, It just seems like it will be one way. I'm still watching/giving it a chance.

You stated better than I could.... the flawed aspect of seeming righteous when all the fresh news is coming across.... I know, I know, it's just a story, but it's a bit hard to take the whole story seriously.

I really liked the first episode of this show. They state that they are not left or right, and not about showing both sides. They are about the truth or exposing a lie and showing one side or 5 sides or however many or few sides a story has. 4 episodes in, and it seems they only lean to one side, focusing on exposing lies on just one side. I'm hoping future episodes, they won't be on one side as it has been so far. There are some nifty story lines in this show, and it is cool that they are covering news stories from 2 years ago. That seems to also be a problem, because they seem to take a righteous position on everything that has happened in the news from 2 years ago. It doesn't have a realistic feel because the show is trying so hard to be noble and act like they would have these same takes in the moment in which they occurred. I'm still going to watch the next episode when it airs, but I really hope there is a posibility of the show not leaning one way.

So, I just started watching this series tonight, and I must say, I LOVE IT!!! What a talented cast and some of the best writing I've seen in a long while.

I was really looking forward to this being available on here. Thanks so much contributors! I predict this is going to be one dynamic series. Loved it (and I don't like watching the news either, lol). Outstanding - Good one HBO. I hope it continues along this path.
