Great show, but I agree the recap of what happened last every 10 minutes is crazy. What is the purpose of this? Do they assume everyone who watches is stoned or drunk, and forgot what just happened?

Spot on Freakawn. What happened to people working together, and getting a simple job done? Is it that hard? The producers would do well in sharing a show in light which lends a great example of a common goal. Not an enemy of ourselves or a negative well played. We see enough of that S*** in real life... why promote it? The show is supposed to be about going after one's DREAMS. What the FU** happened.

Steve is about as 'efficient' and useful as his daughter Emily. Since when did a decent show about dredging gold, develop into a broken down second rate soap? Perfect example of a 'teams' magnificent failure. Scott and his stupid twisted mentality... okay!? One can deal with that drama I suppose. Makes for good ratings right? NE! If you build a team to look for riches... 'gold', in any of its form... you had better have each others back. What this has turned into, is disgusting. Done.

I'm sorry... but Emily is dead weight. As well, does it make for 'good TV' all the conflict within the teams? I would rather see people working together. Parker, in the series Gold Rush, has that attitude for such a young dude under pressure. Say you are sorry when appropriate, and mean it. 7/10

For everyone who really just cannot wait to see who unfortunately died, I'm not going to toss a "spoiler" out here but you can just google it. The death happened back in September and there are newspaper reports about it on the internet. What I don't understand is that from the show previews its stating a "suicide" but the family is adamantly calling it an "accident". Either way it's a very sad loss of life.

Did anyone catch where Emily said "I don't know what's wrong with me, it used to be so easy"...Are you F'n kidding me???? That useless, whiny, drama-filled Bitch hasn't been able to dive since the show started!!!! When was it ever So Easy???? Send her ass packing, and tell her to take her useless girly father with her!!

I understand ppl dont like Emily and her father but even thou they cant help with the dredging itself they still need ppl onboard the boats because of safety so they can still be used, better to pay less for ppl that cant dredge then pay full to a diver that has to stay on the boat and still not dredge. So even thou they whine its better to have a whiner take care of safety than a guy that mentions problems after it happens just because he want to dredge the most and dont want any downtime. And the state most of those boats are in dont help. I Wouldnt have worked on any exept christine rose just because its so easy to flip all the others, and also to avoid the home made systems they have put 2gether that your life is depending upon.

They probably re-created it for TV. Reality shows do that a lot.

I find it really disgusting that for many weeks now they have had a cliffhanger style ending saying someone shot himself, I can only assume that was to make people who already watch this show want to keep watching even more. I thought when I first saw that information that it was distasteful and expected it to be told the very first time I heard that news in one of the episodes. I cannot fathom the reason that it carried over episode after episode, a reminder someone did such a tragic thing. That is one of the most disrespectful ploys/tactics to lure in an audience I have ever seen, it made it even worse because it wasn't some random person from the town but a person who the show had been following. I will indeed go as far as to say I consider it a highly illigal act hopefully John's family will sue the producers.

The producers have lost the plot a long time ago, alright I know this is their show and it is made how they want it to be made, but if they think fans of Bering sea gold or Gold rush want all soap opera filled shows that repeatedly recap and do recaps of a recap of the last show or what happened before the break... common for gods sake this is an insult to our intelligence, instead of just showing bleedin footage of mining,dredging and fixing stuff. That Emily is no use to man nor beast, she is a liability and a safety hazard, but Zeke has a lifelong crush friendzone as a boss situation going on so... yea. that being said the new episodes of both shows never had as much recap situation going on this week, at least I think so or maybe I'm just in the habit of skipping stuff forward without noticing anymore. summery; 5 percent dredging 95 percent whining.

A lot of people says that this show is better than Gold Rush Alaska but i enjoyed Gold Rush more. This is 'anger' and 'beep' show. I watched all parts,its much better than scripted Jungle Gold but not as good as Gold Rush Alaska for me.
