Too bad they never mentioned Nikolai Tesla in the bit about Edison vs. Westinghouse. Tesla owned the patents on AC, and only later gifted that to Westinghouse.

Good documentary and will be looking out for another series.

This episode was very intriguing. I tend to believe in some of the conspiracy theories which try to prove that our government is trying to control us. For a silly example but no less weird, why is it that everytime I get a cold and take cold medicine, my cold becomes much worse? I have had a suspicion for years that they put something in the cold medicine to make you sicker faster and longer so that you spend more on the medicines. When Ive had a cold and NOT taken medicine, due to lack of money or whatever, my cold was short lived and not as severe. With OTC meds, a cold lasts a week or more, without OTC meds it lasts three or four days. I very much believe we are manipulated on a regular basis in these ways. That there is a sound device which can harm does not surprise me.

I found the last story to be even more sad than the one about the saddest song in the world. Fantastic episode.

I'm sorry to say that I couldn't get past the first 5 minutes of this episode. It just comes across as much too stereotypical, I cannot look past the alien music, the voice over and the cheesy reconstructions. I really want to watch it but it's so difficult to take a show seriously when it plays out like this.

Really cool show. I hope it comes back. Makes you think about stuff that happened or didn't happen in this world.
