There’s a girl named Bay. In school, they were testing their blood type and she found out that hers was AB. Her dad said that was impossible because his was O and her mom’s was A. They got genetic testing done and they believe that there was a mix-up at the hospital when Bay was a baby. Daphne is the other girl on the show, whom we discover is deaf.

switched at birth is not only a wonderfully intriguing show to watch but it also has a light about it that makes it a show of interest as oppose to many new shows on tv today. its filled with alot of heartfelt moments and has a great cast . i am greatful for this series.

The season started out a bit slow, but one thing I can say about this show is that it doesnt drag out. Normally, if something is going on in a particular episode the conclusion will be dealt with by the end of the show or at least the next show. I like that about this show, some of the other abc family shows are never ending drama. I love this series more b/c I use to be a sign language interpreter so I catch myself remembering signs I've forgotten over the years. I give this show 3.5 stars out of 5. I think it is a great series for most age groups and is another way to show diversity in a different type of culture, not based on skin or color.
