I've seen the whole UK version and now this episode, and I like it. I just don't understand it's purpose, since the story is so so similar to the UK version...

I watched the whole UK version of this and wondered about the US version if it would be the same or if it would run off in a different direction. But I found it's the same. I don't agree about the actors being hotter in the US version..I think the actors in the UK version where pretty hot.

This series is a completely missed opportunity to take this premise and make something unique. The little differences between the UK and this version are inconsequential. It's sad. SyFy should have just aired the UK show.

This "US" version is actually Canadian. Its filmed in Canada, has many Canadian actors and is produced by Muse Entertainment, a Canadian company.

its only the first episode, but I like it- was hooked on the british version but this is different enough, will give it a shot

well so far the i can tell the script is different i think the original first episode is better and i wish the ghost wasnt so annoying

Looks like a good adaptation so far. Great casting and different enough from the original not to feel like a complete copy. Seems a bit darker than the original too; I approve.

I think this show can be good if they don't put all good acts u kno I am a goody goody vampire/werewolf but if they try to be good vamp/wolf (o yeah the ghost can b fun) but sh*t happens to them and they do bad things occasionally it will be fun.for now 3/5

Good show. I was a bit hesitant since there have been so many vampire/werewolf shows recently. My husband wanted to watch this so I gave it a shot. I will watch the second episode. It has some good comic relief.

Close call between the British and the US versions... The British Ghost is waaaaay hotter and less annoying than the US one... But think maybe the US is doing slightly better with their version but then its just adapted from the our version which was created and thought up in its own right... I'm not sure why Americans have to copy our series and do their own versions, why not just show our versions on their channels like we do with theirs? Or is it just too much for them to grasp the slight language differences?

i'm interested to see how the US version of the show pans out, but there's no way it could ever be better than the original UK version. Mitchell, George and Annie ftw! :')

This is a whole lot better than the UK version, which is good since the US Skins sucks compared the the UK. The storyline makes more sense, the special effects are better, and it's darker than the original. So happy they decided to make the ghost more like a ghost and the roommates weren't stupid enough to let a werewolf trash the house since he probably could've broken out if he wanted realistically. I also really like the cast, it's something I'll be continuing to watch.

The acting is sooo sooo bad (but laughably bad) in this version, the British actors are really good. They explain the stuff more in the US without leaving u to figure it out which is sometimes good, sometimes childish. Overall they both have beautiful people (thu I prefer the eye-candy in the Brit versions). But both versions have theirs pros so I'll be watching both. And I'm not from the US or the UK.

1st Episode was just ok for me. Haven't watched the UK version but I know sometimes the original is better. But, I know I like the US version of Shameless better so I gonna give it a second chance
