Cowboy Bebop: Cowboy Bebop: revolves around a crew of bounty hunters living in the spaceship named Bebop. They are a team of bounty hunters who travel the Solar System trying to apprehend bounties. Jet Black, a former ISSP (Inter-Solar System Police) officer, ship's captain and owner, partnered with Spike Spiegel (a former member of the Red Dragon Crime Syndicate) for his diverse combat skills. During their travels, the Bebop gains new crew members; Faye Valentine, a woman with a mysterious past, Edward, an eccentric girl who also happens to be a cyber hacking genius, and Ein, a normal dog who thanks to the experimentation he had gone through, is highly intelligent. |

This is a great anime series its similar to Black Lagoon, If you like this youll probably like Samurai Champloo! Spikes fighting style is based after Bruce Lee

Great anime but yet another 30 episode cocktease made by a company that has YET to put a series making more then 35 episodes because they writers are idiots

Kept putting off watching this because of the weird name and the commercials never showed any space/future themes just people hanging about looking cool. I'm glad i gave it a looksey, ordered the DvD boxset after watching the pilot. Now the name makes perfect sense too.

THE SAX AND THE RAIN.. always strikes a chord with me..its not just the story line.... its the way they capture the universal sadness we all feel because we are mortal...the real folk blues is an accurate statement...no survivors on this earth.... make your lives count for something..... long live bebop

Great series. The characters are all developed well enough you get to know and care about all their ultimate fates. The music in this series is spectacular. Still one of the best anime series out there.

This anime is great for many reasons. The most important ones are the characters' personalities, drawing style and themes, plot-line(more from a choreographic/narrative point of view than a simple entertaining purpose)and complexity. The world you see in this anime has shaped many in the entertaining business... do not get fooled by the wrong release date here. This was produced in 1998 and at the time this was a big event because the crew who crafted it was composed by the best of the best of the times. A sort of dream team if you will. This was a marketing move too, but I love the result of it, and the two antagonistic roles (Spike and Vicious) are simply perfect. Really a gem from the 90s. The only one that I remember from that time.

It's hard to find anime that i actually enjoy watching, but I ADORE cowboy bebop. even if your not that into anime, check this show out. it's worth it.

One of the best series of Anime ever. If you've never watched it, and you can enjoy animated action, then I STRONGLY recommend this. All the action of Trigun with a slightly less sappy story. 5/5

I've watched one or two anime films but never actually watched a whole anime series so I clicked on a random show and it was cowboy bebop and now it's one of my favourites who would of thought it. the sax on the intro is crazy.
