im not even in to anime ive only watched a few different ones and it wasnt for me most anime is mad gay but bleach is hands down my favorite show so badass.

Although it may be hard for the American fans to believe, they didn't stop this show at its prime; it went way past its prime. In Japan, Bleach had been out of the top 10 ranking for animated programming for years now. It's being taken off the air was actually long overdue - after a certain major plot point, which many believe would have been the perfect opportunity to end the anime on a high note, the Powers That Be chose instead to flog the dead horse with ill-conceived - but in my opinion well-constructed - filler arc. After dismal ratings even after they returned to the main storyline with the Stolen Substitute Shinigami Combat Pass Arc, the decision was made to take the series off the air.

i ve been a fan of bleach since the beginning all these years. shame it had to finish but i think its for the best that it did, since its better to finish something when it is at its prime rather when it gets boring etc.

If I only had a nickel for every time I had to read the complaints of some whiner with no understanding of how long-running anime works...Yacu, like it or not, so-called 'filler' story arcs are a necessary evil. Story arcs like the Bounts (bad filler) or the Gotei 13 Invading Army Arc (good filler) assure that the anime does not run out of story to tell. There are only 2 other options besides using filler content: 1) have the anime go on hiatus every time it catches up with the manga for as long as is needed to provide enough storyline to continue, usually at least one, sometimes two 13-week seasons, OR 2) do what they do with One Piece, which is to have each episode only relate the EXACT happenings of of just ONE and ONLY ONE chapter of the manga, no matter how little happens in that chapter (One Piece has only approximately 20 filler episodes for all 538 currently aired eps). Also, if by "vampire werewolf" episodes you mean eps 303 & 304, you should really pay attention when watching your anime - those were the New Year's Specials for 2011, not actual story arcs. AND they were actually kind of clever, in a way, since they were a continuation of from the mid-season special.
