Couple disappointments there. Didn't want to see sex scenes or pathetic drama that doesn't fit in the concept. (IMO)

After what I just saw on the Official SGU website I would say the show is dead, since they are Auctioning off the props so how can they make anymore episodes if they have no props for it, lol I think I will buy the plastic Gate and use it as a Front door casing for my new house, but I will want it to Flush sideways as O'Neil said in one of the last Stargate or Stargate Atlantis episodes, lol he even called it an orifice at one point lol I would say either he was fed up or the writers were if they gave him those lines, but I like to think Richard Dean Anderson adlibed those 2 bits of Dialog

Well....It still is a load of crap...Stargate Atlantis was cancelled without closure. And now Stargate universe is cancelled without closure. Damnit stop making shows that are not going to be finished....

This show was my new favorite for myself the past 2 years, was always looking forward to every new episode. I loved the other 2 stargate series alot and has always been my favorite show's, but Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis were like peanuts in a jar. Stargate Universe was the JAR. and will be sad to see it go. I can only hope this is a sick joke by syfi but highly doubt it. I bought the first season on blu-ray because i loved it so much, and i will tell you now, is the first copy of a television series I have ever bought, will be buying season 2 also.... with some hopes the show will return... or even. keep it as a small profit for my kids.. when they realize what they quit on.. these 2 seasons could be worth allot of money... once people can catch up with its time frame... This series may have been abit to ahead of its time frame. would have been a major hit 5 to 10 years from now. P.S. I will never watch syfi channel again because of the new shows they picked to replace our shows. might as well call it, GTC (Girly teenage channel). no offence to the women :) but we miss our shows.

I must say that I have enjoyed all three (and the movies) of the series of Stargate and that I am a devout fan of this type of SciFi genre! I am a Trekkie and thought that there wouldn't be any other type of series that can run with Star Trek and all of its many appendages, but honestly, Stargate has given me another group of shows that I will watch and enjoy for years to come! Thanks for posting this series! 5/5!

Well that's that, not as bad an ending as i feared. It's totally down to the writing staff that this show got canceled IMO. What did they think would happen? The only people that were ever going to watch this were the same people who watched Atlantes. Unfortunately people were so mad about Atlantes being canceled they boycotted this and then the first season was way too focused on setting up background and future seasons and not about entertaining story lines that the loss in viewers was never going to reverse, even tho the second season was amazing! RIP SGU :(

It is such a shame that this is going to be the last ever SGU! i found it to be the best of the stargate genre... by the end of it i felt i knew the personalities of the crew. i would get annoyed at rush, laugh at eli's wise cracks.... and admired grear for his bravery and honour.. so sad, but i will miss it greatly..the best sci-fi program i have ever seen..peace out
