I really liked this episode. The murderer was unexpected and the reason for his actions was well explained. No strings left hanging there.

This is yet another excellent British TV crime drama. Robson Green plays clinical psychologist Dr Tony Hill and Hermione Norris is Deputy Chief Inspector Carol Jordan. Both Green and Norris have had major roles in other British TV shows, with Norris in particular starring in the well-crafted crime show "MI-5" and the romantic comedy-drama "Cold Feet". Green does a great job as Dr. Hill and, typical for so much British TV set in modern times, the acting is well measured. The plot is fairly straightforward - Dr. Hill has an uncanny ability to get into the mind of the bad guys and DCI Jordan is his muse - but the story line keeps you guessing right to the end. Also typical, the sets and cinematography are excellent, from the sterile prison hospital housing two of Dr. Hill's patients, to the dark, dank countryside that seems tailor-made for the bad guys, to the the tweedy campus of the university where Dr. Hill teaches. I never knew what would ultimately develop in the relationship between Hill and DCI Jordan but I won't give it away here! Watch the show to find out. You won't be disappointed.

I think this probably had a severe affect on people with kids. I however don't have any so it was a decent episode. Mostly the whole thing with Carol in the beginning got my attention.
