Zobelle (Adam Arkin) cooks up a "temporary problem" for Hale to solve as a way to undermine SAMCRO; Gemma's rape is undermining her relationship with Clay; and Jax's involvement in Luanne's porn business is getting to Tara. Meanwhile, Clay tells Bobby, who needs a job, to run the business end of Luanne's business.

The show is based upon a fictional Northern California motorcycle club which provides a unique setting for themes that have been called Shakespearean by critics and fans alike. Written by Kurt Sutter (who has a cameo role and best known for his work on "The Shield"), the Club matriarchs are played by Katey Sagal (Gemma) and Ron Perlman (Clay) as you have never seen them before. All of the actors are perfectly cast making it impossible to be neutral towards any of them. Each episode builds upon itself drawing the viewer into its intesity. One could drop in on a random episode to get a feel and not be lost or disappointed; however start with Season 1 Episode 1 and be prepared for a new favorite. A rising star on FX cable TV, SoA is strongly rumored to be headed for a third season due September 2010. From the Emmy nominated theme song (This Life) to the gnarly Harleys through the violence, profanity and edginess, each episode will have you wanting more.

Sons of Anarchy is one of THE best television shows of all time. It captures the perfect balance of humor, drama and excitement. Kurt Sutter (who also features in the show and is married to Katey Sagal who stars) has captured the very essence of cool for his characters. Each character with their own background, strengths and weakness. There is someone to cheer for everyone. But don't mistake this review as a "and there is a power ranger for you too" kind of review. The story telling captures you, leads you in then leaves you begging for more just as did FX's show The Shield on which Kurt worked on with Shawn Ryan and featured in on several occasions playing "bad guy" Margos. Katy Sagal also featured in The Shield on a few episodes. There are a few familiar faces for Shield fans, most notably the appearance of Kenny Johnston aka Curtis "Lemon Head" Lemanski in the second last episode of Series two. Lem, ofcourse not playing the roll of Lem as Shield fans will know or anyone who watched the fifth series. I hope Kenny makes a return in the third series and gets a recurring or full time part in the gang. The acting is fantastic and with the cast, no surprise. Katy Sagal is stand out for me, her role as Gemma is fantastic and the perfect blend of danger and beauty. Very refreshing to see her out of her comedy, mumsy roles such as Futurama and 8 Simple Rules. Not saying she was bad in them, but she could do so much better as an actor/actress and in this she certainly proves it! Ron Perlman doesn't seem a far cry away from his Hellboy persona but still pulls off the lead biker very well. Tommy Flanagan as "Chibs" is worthy of a mention as well, though I'm probably being slightly biast as he is Scottish and his nickname comes from the Scottish term for cutting someone's face with a knife. For example "your gettin' chibbed"

Nicknames also add to the humor of the show such as Half-Sack who is trying to join the gang after coming back from the war in Afghanistan after losing a nut. Hense "Half-Sack"

overall though, know review will do it justice. Just like with The Shield its a show you have to watch and enjoy. If your not a real television fan you won't enjoy it and when I say "not a real" fan I mean if you watch crappy soap dramas and half tune into movies. Don't bother as you won't enjoy it. This is all about characters, story and entertainment. It delivers on all levels and I rate it five stars

best show on tv by far worth watching cant wait for season 4 watched all the seasons in one week with the whole family stayed up till three in the morning watching it very excited to see what the new season brings, im sure it will just get better and better

This is a show that keeps you coming back for more with action packed around every corner. It leaves you wanting more and more. You slowly see that all is coming out no matter how hard any of the sons try and keep secrets and in the end you wonder who is going to be killed next. I give this show a 10/10
