Midsomer Murders: <p>The elderly Miss Emily Simpson dies suddenly of a broken neck, apparently while hunting for orchids in the woods near her home village of Badger's Drift. The local doctor says she committed suicide, but Emily's friend Lucy Bellringer is suspicious and persuades Barnaby to take an interest in the case. And then there is a double murder. Barnaby finds a sinister side to the sleepy village, including a case of incest, before he can solve the killings at Badger's Drift, old and new.<p> |
