I don't know why they even bother with restaurants any more. They've taken second place to the faux drama that is now the main focus of the show.

Gordon Ramsay is no joke. Unlike a lot of people out there, he's got the credentials to back up his attitude. And I admire him greatly for it. He's totally one of my personal heroes. He ranks right up there with Henry Rollins, George Carlin & Denis Leary for me. I love his take-charge, no-nonsense demeanor and absolutely admire his "stand and fight for what you want" attitude. I know for a fact that if the couple I used to work for had actually taken up the offer that was given to them to have Gordon come and help the restaurant I used to manage for them, that place would still be open today. But they didn't want to listen to someone else. And the place failed. Catastrophically. All because they didn't want to listen. Just like so many of these other owners- but only, those people actually did pay attention by the end of it all. Which separates them from the failures. Also... just to put it out there, if you want to watch episodes- particularly season 2 in it's entirety- it's available on Hulu.com. Right now, seasons one thru four are available. I dunno if they will be in the future because Hulu is fickle but... it's better than dead links, no links, links that give Malware or don't work for whatever other reason.

I agree with you WI_SportsFan! It's also strange to me that the owners usually resist his recommendations. Seems like if your business was failing you'd be eager to take the advice of a successful expert. Great show! 5/5

I love the way he breaks down the restaurant owners from angry to putty in his hands. It always surprises me when people are shocked by his slams...it's like, "Um...you've seen this show before right?" >>>I have been choosing my restaurants much more carefully after seeing the nastiness out there.

Anything with Chef Ramsay is worth watching. I would love to get ripped into by him, haha. Thats a claim to fame :) Its nice that at least one of Hells Kitchen, MasterChef or Kitchen Nightmares is always on :)

i love when gordan smells and digs in the raunchiest fridges and neglected corners! nastyy shit. makes you wonder how many restos as dirty are still out there... serving 2-3 week pre prepared frozen turds!

could watch ramsey all day.love the temper bcuz they deserve it.after all he does, some people still dont appreciate it.the language may be a bit explicit at times but thats what makes him who he is.

ramsey needs to keep visiting restaurants because it's some nasty ones out here who need help.... i can't believe that one restaurant tried to serve him a salad that had maggots in them..... GAG!

This series is amazing. Truly does let people know what kind of restaurants are really out there and the secrets they try to hide from their customers, the corners they will cut, etc just to make a buck. Kudos to Chef for at least trying with a lot of these places, whether they stay open or not. Once he leaves, it is up to the owners and staff to keep up what they got taught while he was there. 10/10

Ramsay is nothing but a legend. Kitchen Nightmares and Hells Kitchen are worth a watch!
