I grew up in the 70's and this is the closest show that reflects that experience, I can't believe a show so well done is cancelled after one season. At lest it ended on a good note. 10/10

I'm halfway through the season and I'm really surprised at how fantastic this show is. I can't believe it was cancelled after just one season! Such a shame.

This is such a fantastic show. If you weren't a vapid social climber in high school, then you will completely relate to this cult hit.

@ravenburger saved by the bell is the only thing i can think of that has a similar feel but its much more juvenile really so not really even that one. so eh. i wish there was another series like it or this had run for more than one season T_T

during my 3rd night in the beginning of my 2011 summer, I turned my t.v. on at 2:00 am and discovered that this was on. My intial reaction was, holy s**t, is that Martin starr at age 12? From that point on I was hooked to the show. As the show progessed and time spanned on I was constantly recagnazing actors and actresses from apatow comedies ie. Knocked Up, Funny People, superbad, forgetting sarah marshall etc. Once the show was over I deciced that I really liked it and would tune in tommorow to watch the next episode, And there the love I have for this show truly began, it lead to 2:00 am freaks and geeks nights and multiple online viewings. To sum up my thoughts on Freaks and Geeks, no t.v. show has connected to me like this one and it will forever be my favorite t.v. show of all-time (most likely). I will always cherish the first time I sat down and watched the show. Forever.

How did I not know about this show?! So many good actors and it's from the late 90s so that's even better. 5/5 I loved it.

The conversation in this show feels natural & is funny. I adore the different types of characters & in my opinion it is a shame that they cancelled F&G after only one season. Nevertheless, I enjoy the storyline again and again. (:

It's funny that many of the actors in this canceled show are now successful in the movie business. I guess the T.V. network that canceled it didn't know a good thing when they saw it.

Great show. I was class of '81, and the period-correctness is pretty awesome. Hair, costumes and social conventions are spot-on. In my high school we called the cheerleaders and other "perfect people" socials(they were mostly a disco crowd), and the kickers wore cowboy boots and listened to C&W music. By far the most interesting people were the freaks and geeks.
