I really enjoyed the trilogy and found this to be the best one. I love these kind of magical movies, it's great for kids and adults. I know some people had a problem with the 2 older children not being involved but I think it was needed to show how Lucy and Edmund have matured and grown up over the course of the trilogy. This, for me, was really Lucy's movie and she shone through. This one had some great action and creatures.

This was very disappointing for me. Iheard a lot of buzz about it but it didn't meet my expectations, I found it down right boring. The last thirty minutes or so were more eventful but getting there was a trial for sure. This is basically a coming of age story but they throw in a vampire girl to make it different. I hope the Swedish version is better.

This is one of those movies along the lines of Sunshine Cleaning and Little Miss Sunshine. You'll get great acting and a great, bitter sweet story. Gene Hackman just owns this movie and everyone in is spectacular as well. All I can say is what a messed up family.

This movie is just fantastic. The acting is off the charts. It has a great story, I can't belive it's based on an actual guys life. The way the two guys started their internet porn business is just too funny, whenever they're on screen is when the laughter comes, especially with Luke Wilson doing the narration of the scenes.

Sunshine Cleaning - 12 months ago

Amy Adams and Emily Blunt in the same movie, I'm sold. This isn't a laugh so hard you'll pee your pants comedy, it reminded me of Little Miss Sunshine. It's a sweet movie with some drama mixed in but it's a pleasure to sit through.

Really enjoyed this movie, it looks so beautiful, winter setting in a remote location. The acting was pretty good, the kid is creepy as hell and there are plenty of twists and turns. There are some plot holes I can't really discuss without spoiling the movie, and the ending was kinda lazy. Still I'd give it a watch, it's more thriller than horror though.

I'm not a fan of Shia but the guy does star in some good movies, this being one of them. If you can buy into the fact that 1 computer can control almost everything in America you'll have a good time with this one. Plenty of action, intrigue and humour. Check it out.

Bsically this film left me scratching my head a few times. So many things didn't made sense or flat out just went unexplained. For a lower budget movie the acting and special effect were decent enough, and the story had such potential but they didn't execute it properly.

This is pretty much a terrible movie, but I'll give it some credit for the kills and the acting. The kills were pretty bloody and gory and had me feeling pretty squeamish, the acting isn't spectacular but it it is solid for the most part. But the characters made stupid decision after stupid decision.

This movie is just chock full of action, and the acting is pretty solid as well. Well except for the antagonist who has one line in the film, but it's his eyes, they bestow a grim, steely determination to exact his revenge. The film itself is shot beautifully, Australia is a beautiful country to behold. The problem I have is they made Jimmy almost superhuman to deal with the fact he's going against so many guys and he's all alone. I chock this off to lazy writing. All in all a nice action flick.

This was a very nice, intense thriller. It's about three girls in one of their parents cabin in the middle of the wilderness. A man shows up who has been squatting in the cabin who may or may not be a killer, the killer of two girls a few years back in the same vicinity of their cabin. Good acting and a good story. 3 out of 5.

Man I loved this movie, so funny. Will Ferrell was really good as the voice of Megamind. He was pretty toned down from most of his other roles, so he shouldn't be too over the top for the people that don't care for him that much. Great story, the animation looks awesome and there are plenty of laughs. Good for adults as well as children. 4 out of 5.

I really enjoyed this movie. It's not your typical slasher flick with someone being killed every two minutes. It's more of a suspense filled thriller that keeps on building and building until the end when all hell breaks loose. Lance Henriksen provides the voice of the caller and he's friggin' creepy. 3 out of 5.

This is a very good movie with great performances by Viggo and the boy who plays his son. It is kind of slow moving but it works perfectly for this film. It just feels so real and is a very moving story. If there was a global catastrophe and the government fell this is how I picture the world would be. I highly recommend this movie.

Pretty funny movie starring Rainn Wilson from The Office. He's a drummer that got kicked out of his band 20 something years earlier and gets a second chance at glory with his nephews high school band. It's funny seeing them in the 80's with thee big hair and the spandex, reminds me of my high school back in the day. Fun movie, not laugh at loud funny but I recommend watching this.

Bone Dry, starring the great Lance Henriksen, is a great thriller of a movie. It starts of pretty quickly in that five minutes in the main story gets under way. It keeps building the tension and introduces a few new characters along the way to keep the suspense at a high level. The endind caught me by surprise.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies - 2 years ago

This is an amazing animated movie. The animation is beautiful, the voice acting is great. The story is very entertaining, there is plenty of action and some good one liners from both Batman and Superman. The number of super villains that they have to tangle with are too many to mention. This is the best animated movie I have had the pleasure to watch.

This was a pretty good movie, I'd classify it as a psychological thriller. It does have some horror, slasher movie type elements to it as well. There's a few jump scares and some decent kills. The hitchhicker they pick up is super creepy, he says nothing after they give him a ride and are asking him some innocent questions. It's way more creepy with him being silent than having him answer. He does some things to really mess with Pennys head. I don't want to ruin it by giving anything away.

I saw this movie years ago and instanly had a huge crush on Jennifer Connelly, she is drop dead gorgeous in this movie. It's a lot of fun and has a good story. A guy gets a job at as a night time janitor at Target and gets locked in the store with the prettiest girl from high school. But 2 brothers have plans on robbing the place.

This is a really fun show and it's informative which is a good thing in this case. The host is Mike Rowe, he's very personable and funny, he guides the episodes along really nicely. Basically he travels the country doing some gross, hard jobs. It might make you appreciate your job more.

This is an over hyped piece of crap. The acting is okay but the story is not. It is boring as hell. Trust me when I say that nothing really happens. A door opens, the female lead character gets up in the middle of the night and just stands in one spot for hours. Then the end of the movie comes and THEN some stuff finally happens. Wow, that's great. Avoid. Go watch Paranormal Entity instead, at least you won't be bored to tears.

This really is one hell of a mind f@#k of a movie. It's hard to tell what is real and what isn't. The only reason I watched it was because Luke Wilson was in it, he probably wishes he wasn't. The main character thinks people are out to kill her and you don't know if it's just in her head or not. Weird movie, not for me.

This is a fun movie, Denise Richards looks smoking hot and the acting and story are both very good. Basically a guy and girl who work together go on their first date and end up hitting a homeless man with their car. Not wanting to just leave him alone, he ends up going on the date with them. Meanwhile several of their co-workers are having a sort of date party and are betting on various things they think will happen on the date. Matt Damon has a very funny cameo. Check it out, you should enjoy it.

This is a dark comedy, it has it's moments but overall I didn't really enjoy it. The acting was good, Helen Mirren was great as Tingle. The story wasn't bad, there just wasn't enough to keep me interested or make me laugh very often. I can't really recommend it.

Who wrote this piece of crap? If they set out to make a zombie movie where the zombies are a bunch of pussies and wanted to bore me to death then they succeeded. Don't waste your time with this, nothing really happens and David Carradine is in it for about 4 minutes.

This was actually a cool, fun movie. I can't stand Megan Fox but she was really good in this. Amanda Seyfried is way hotter than Fox and a much better actress, I'm glad the focus was on her. It was funny seeing Adam Brody as a hip, emo lead singer when he was such a nerd on the O.C. This is not a horror movie, it's a dark comedy. If you go in with that mind set you should enjoy it.

This was an ok movie. Sometimes the plot of the story was a little unreal but it's just a movie so just go with it. The acting was decent enough, the girls were cute, and there were some good kills. If you want to watch a movie you don't really have to think about this is for you.

This should have been much better but the writers and director really dropped the ball. You have a group of people, strangers to one another, going on a paintball trip into the woods. When they get there they start getting killed for real, while being watched through various cameras by a group of unknown people. Should be exciting, but I was bored silly, a true sin for a movie like this.

This is just a piece of crap. It's trying to be a horror/comedy and falls flat on both counts. The actors were bad, the story was just plain stupid. The only somewhat positive thing in this movie was the Elvis-like zombie. Avoid this movie, go watch Zombieland if you want a good horror/comedy movie.

I heard many bad things about this movie, but I liked Rob Zombies first one so I gave it a try. I thought it was really good, until the ending. I would have given it 4 stars but the ending was just so bad. Michael Myers looks scary as hell, he's a huge man. The acting was good, story was good until the end.

This is the worst movie of 2009 and one of the worst of all time. This is the only movie I have never finished watching, it was so bad I had to turn it off within 15 minutes. The main character tries to channel Ryan Reynolds and fails miserably. Where Reynolds Van Wilder was likable this one is annoying and made me hate him. Avoid at all costs.

Not a bad film, good for a one time watch. The acting is good, it is filmed beautifully. It's hard to review without giving away too much of the plot but i'll give it a try. Years ago a group of friends played a prank on a girl and it ended very badly. Years later the prank victim reappears to get revenge. as her friends start to fall victim only Sandy has any memories of her missing friends, making her wonder if she is going insane.

This was a pretty good flick. It's part of the After Dark Horrorfest 2007 film festival. Check Wikipedia for more details and some names of other films to check out if you like horror movies. This is a post apocalypse film, with the good guys staying in an abandoned hospital fighting off cannabilistic marauders. It's not too gory which is a plus for me, it has some good kills and a decent story. The acting is good, Michael Madsen is the man.

This turns into a really funny movie, you just need to get through the first ten minutes. Sandra Bullocks character is so annoying but trust me, you'll get to love her. Thomas Haden Church is a real scene stealer, my favourite part of the movie involves him. The acting was really good, check this out!!

This is a horrible movie, a total waste of film and peoples time. How did my beloved Anne Hathaway agree to star in this stinker? The story is stupid, what 2 best friends would try to sabotage each others weddings because they have to get married at a certain place at a certain time. I hated the characters, they had no redeemable values. Avoid at all costs.

This is one of my favourite movies. I laughed so much I had to stop the dvd and rewind it several times. Ryan Reynolds is hilarious, as is Kal Penn. Tara Reid looks so hot. You'll never forget the part with the dog and the pastries, no matter how hard you try. It's fun, light hearted and sweet.

This is a really fun movie, they must have been higher than most of the characters in the movie to come up with the idea of a guy in a Ronald Reagan mask killing people. It's not a straight up slasher flick, it has plenty of humour in it. Paul Reubens is great as the slimy concert organizer.

This was a pretty good movie, low budget but it looked really well done. This is a character driven story as it's mostly just two people driving in a car for the bulk of it. There's not a lot of action but the story gets you thinking and the ending is a real mind f'k.

This is a decent creature flick, pretty good special effects for a lower budget movie. The acting was good, story wasn't to bad. It's about an ancient creature that was dug up and wreaks havoc on a little town and some of its inhabitants. Plus it has Charlie f'n Murphy!!

I loved this movie, has a ton of laughs. I only wish Betty White had a bigger part as the grandmother, she was excellent. Bullock plays a cold hearted business woman with no social life who has to marry her assistant, Reynolds, so she doesn't get deported to Canada. To bad for her they have to go through an interview with Immigration and to pass that they need to know about each other, which they don't because she's a bitch with no friends. They have to spend the weekend together with Reynolds family and this is where all the fun stuff happens.
