The Colony is a reality television program produced by the Discovery Channel that follows how a group of people might survive in a post apocalyptic environment. The Colony begins with the volunteers facing a 72 hour isolation period to psychologically shift their perspective from our modern world to the end of the world. The volunteers then tend to many aspects of sustainable living including the essentials: security, electricity, and food. Keen insights into psychology, security, and technology are also given by experts.
