There once was a boy named Victor Crowley.... the story is about a deformed boy named Victor Crowley ( played perfectly by Kane Hodder ) who was accidentally killed by his father during a holloween prank. Since then, his father has died and Victor still haunts the swamps of New Orleans. A group of people take a haunted boat ride in the swamps and they get stranded. On foot now, they come across Victors old house and thats when the fun begins. blood, guts, and body parts begin to fly as Victor starts the slaughtering. This is a good horror/slasher film with plenty of gore from start to finish. The acting was good with some cameos by a few horror legends. The story was ok but solid from start to finish. The ending was a little disappointing. Overall i would rate this movie as a 7.5/10 for the slicing and dicing and because im a huge fan of the genre. If you love slashers then give this movie a watch. The sequel (Hatchet 2) is coming 2010....

This has to be one of the funniest movies in years. The comedy was just genius. The story being about what they did the night before and back tracking there steps to figure it out. alot of people can relate to that. The actors were perfect for the parts they played. and to top it all of the ending was awesome. This movie went together perfectly from start to finish and should definitely be watched by all. 100% comedy
