About Me:

No one other than you can tell who you really are. More often than not, the face that we expose to the cruel world is merely just a facade. A surface, protecting something vulnerable inside, like a scared soul, a fragile heart or a disturbed state of mind.

But its not the same as being pretentious. The art of pretending is a cage, not a cocoon. Its clearly a manifestation of insecurity and discontentment.

The whole point though, is shedding light to another form of pretending, which, technically and in virtue, is not pretending at all.

People find themselves in deep shit every once in a while. A bad hair day, a flunking grade, a cheating boyfriend, sometimes, as unexpected and as hurtful as a runaway mom. Many, at the height of all these, would easily flash a frown or cry a river or find their way to the kitchen and take the muriatic acid bottle they see for a bottoms up. But some, those who have managed to perfect this unspoken art that I speak of, would gracefully wade it all off and fight the day like Little Ms. Sunshine.
Even when the crappiest of all disasters confronts them, those high-spirited cheers never seem to go away. I consider them the stronger beings that live. They dont dissolve at the sight of a tough dilemma when most would immediately melt down to their self-destructive mode.

People like me though, the weaker ones, find pleasure in their company with the hope that the strength is contagious. . So, in a way, people like them make the world a better place by way of providing strength to those who dont have enough. Strength here enjoy various forms: laughter, calmness, fun, confidence, friendship.

But sometimes, wearing this facade could be detrimental to the person. Coz the pain actually makes its way to the insides. They may seem non-existent, but theyre there, lurking under the facade. They pile up, like files, clouds and germs. And when they fill up to the brim, the damage what is left of you until it cracks up and then, all hell breaks lose. .Sometimes, it hurts knowing that a friend is hurting, but can’t do anything about it. The façade doesn’t just lock in the vulnerable side, it also screens out the friends who are always ready to help.

Hobbies:

i like watching movies, playing badminton, reading books ( nicholas sparks, dan brown), i like literature specifically the american lit. but got few insights with philippine literature as well, i like writing articles.. (frustrated journalist).hehehe
