No problem Ya I was definitely gonna recommend Code Geass. I love that anime so much. Since you liked Samurai Champloo, I would also HIGHLY recommend "Samurai 7" Its a anime retelling of Akira Kurosawa's "The Seven Samurai" which is the most epic samurai movie ever. But you dont need to see that or know that. The anime is absolutely epic too. I put it off for a bit since it was only PG-13 but its my favorite anime I've seen recently.

Basilisk & Ninja Scroll are also great samurai anime, but their both more oldschool. Not sure which of the three I'd say is best, because I havent seen NS or Basilisk in a few years. But I do remember the Ninja Scroll movie (english dub) as being absolutely hilarious in parts, on top of brutally violent.


I probably was a bit biased on Jyu Oh Sei because it was so short of a complete series (like 12 eps at 15-20 min a ep) and I had never heard a single thing about it. I really kinda hated the ending, but I loved the rest.

What other anime have you seen and liked? I LOVED Berserk, and nothing can compare. But there are several others that are epic too.

The Berserk anime covers the first thirteen chapters of the Berserk Manga. If you want more of the story, you could pick up the mangas or read them online. There are 35+ Volumes now. There is a upcoming Berserk OVA Series titled "Berserk: Golden Age" However, Golden Age is what was covered in the original anime. So its just a remake rather than more to the story.
