Hey there, sorry for the terribly late response. I actually found my answer to Source Code. It was concerning the very end, about how the protagonist went about changing the future and the past, and the lady officer knew what had happened.
Right, but what's the question? He changed the future on that time stream, so the train never crashed as he averted it. The 'normal' time stream changed as well like our hero predicted, so he is still alive there and will be used to change the future again..., except now (since he sent her the message)-just like he spoke to his dad from the train before....Now she'll know to he was right and to help him again.

Maybe not, as I'm not the best atexplaining things through thos medium.
