Hey man no worries.. Happy to put out sone of what I learned along the way.. Keep doin mad work!
Whats good man!? Just got back from SC.. The question you had is valid and actually hit me a couple years ago, after I had been training hard and had a couple fights. The question of, ok what am I going to do with this and how far am I going to go in this, came up. I looked at my age as you did, and thought "damn guys in Thailand been fighting since they were, what, 5 years old" and I have just been in this for 4 years. I was 24 years old loved training and fighting and wanted to make it apart of my life.
What I decided was to squash the question of whether or not I was to old or did I start to late, but rather focused on training as hard as I possibly could, fight the best I can and with all my heart, and if it is in my journey then become a champion..I am 28 now and have been out of "training" physically for a year, because of my current location, and I still see me becoming that champion. Training to be a champ is more then pad and bag work..There are many ways to be a champion, so I decided to let life make the choice for me.
What I am saying here is that if you love what you are doing, then how old you are and when you started have no real weight in this game. You are not beat physically like a lot of guys you will be facing, who have been fighting for a longer time (positive here), so it comes down to experience, and that is gained through hard work, and staying focused. If you love this and your intention is pure with why you are doing it, then the possibilities are limitless, who knows what will happen, but wouldn't it be great to find out? Let the doubt and questions go, it does nothing but drain you of energy and makes you unfocused. Look at it one day at a time and the next thing you know, you made it...
Stay up man, stay focused..nothing can stop you if you are focused.
