Apparently there is a crazy troll on this site...the troll has a list of his "enemies" on one of his profile pages. (www.1channel.ch/profile/kellyhelly)
Can you imagine an adult actually using a movie site for this kind of thing? Anyway, the people on the trolls list have angered the troll in some way so he has made various accusations about them. First he claimed that he was a 17 year old girl and said everyone on his list were perverts who had contacted "her" with dirty messages. Then he claimed to be another girl (using a stolen facebook pic) and said that the people on his list were all one person with multiple accounts. He bragged that he had gotten them all muted. This troll has multiple accounts (www.1channel.ch/profile/man_utd is yet another) and he did use those accounts to get some of the people on his profile banned or muted.
The trolls latest claim is that he is actually one of the people he had listed on his enemy list. He stole the person's profile picture and said that all the profile accounts on his list actually belonged to him. (yes, I know. This is a real psycho)

So the administrators muted this certified troll. The profile accounts on his "enemy" list were muted as well since the moderators thought that they belonged to the troll. Since I was on the list, I was muted. Fortunately with the help of moderators Thistle and Mags, I was able to contact the administrators and explain the situation. Mags has advised that I be patient as they will certainly get to the bottom of this situation. Fortunately it's easy to prove thru my IP address, location and via phone confirmation that I am not linked with this troll (who is actually located in England and I am in the U.S) I also have PMs and wall posts from the troll to substantiate my case. I was advised that the best evidence was the gift that the troll sent to me yesterday which brags that he has gotten 2 accounts muted. I was instructed not to delete the gift as the administrators can check who sent the gift even though it was done anonymously. It was a pretty dumb move on the trolls part but good news for me. (Thank you Mr. Troll) The troll is taking credit for getting my account muted but one of his victims actually reported my account because she believed that it was one of his multiple accounts since it was on his profile list. The troll may not realize but admin can check all PMs, gifts and wall posts that have been made by users.
Unlike the troll, I only use this site to watch movies and don't really mind being muted since all it does is prevent me from making comments..the only issue is that the administrators will likely ban this troll eventually and my account would be banned as well so that's why I even bothered to report it.

This is my advice for those of you who have been victims of the troll: First, you should PM any moderator and explain that you have been muted and ask them to please direct you to the person who muted you. Then contact that moderator and explain the situation calmly and politely. Once an account has been muted for being a multiple, the moderators cannot un-mute the account. They can,however, choose to direct you to an administrator who can fully investigate your claim. Contact the administrator and explain your side in detail. Direct them to any PMs, gifts or wall messages sent to you by the troll. Offer to allow them to access your computer IP address and to confirm your location via phone number. Then wait patiently, they are extremely busy because they do take each claim seriously. If you are not guilty of the offense then it can be proven with a little digging on their part. Getting angry, making accusations and ugly posts on your wall will not help your case..and it just feeds the troll. Keep in mind that psych studies have documented that trolls are truly miserable people. This guy is a lonely outcast and has been his whole life. He desperately wants to feel powerful and to make others suffer like he does. He can only accomplish that as an anonymous online bully. It's actually very sad.
Remember that this is only a movie site, it's only a tiny portion of your life whereas this is all the troll really has...so don't sweat the small stuff(and this really is small stuff) Good luck to you!
