It so is..I think about this show all day on Sundays..lol Walking Dead, Breaking Bad(best show ever put on tv imho)Boss and Homeland all kick ass shows. If you haven't seen Boss or Homeland take a peek, the both keep you glued. Ok got my Chex mix ready and my ice cold Coke..now gotta spend some time with dead people. LOL

Not just a different spelling - somewhat different meaning (at least from the way I have heard others (canadians) use metis. aka im mixed (on my mother's side indian (first nations)/black/white, father's side whole other story) but I'm not from that specific population that was descended from the french fur traders and first nations (which is how ive heard most people use metis). Mestee is supposedly an old word that was out of use for a while but some dood who is mestee wrote a book about it and other mixed identities and reminded people of the term.
